What is Kidz@Work all about?
Kidz@Work is the first and only proprietary real-life work experience program for kids (Currently opening to 5-7yrs old) in Singapore. The program enriches kids the value of hard work where they learn about various useful skills, put them to practice and embed a sense of responsibility working in the happiest working environment – The Polliwogs! All parents will also be invited to the graduation party and witness your child’s first salary payout. Don’t miss out this chance to be part of the family!
Program Outline: (2hrs session, 10AM – 12PM OR 4PM – 6PM)
Lesson 1 – Seriously Fun Orientation / Safety & Hygiene (18th March 2019)
“No Man is an Island.” Developing sense of responsibility by taking a tour around The Polliwogs centre and look forward to how The Polliwogs crew operates the centre! Basic hygiene and health practice is essential for a growing child. Acquire knowledge of good grooming etiquette, basic hygiene and safety practices.
Lesson 2 – Customer Service (19th March 2019)
“My pleasure to serve you!” Body Language, expression and gesture define a person. Learn about the do’s & don’ts when dealing with people and the act of taking care customer’s needs.
Lesson 3 – Money Matters $$$ (20th March 2019)
“Let’s talk about money, kaching!” From learning about money calculations to basic addition/substraction. Children will also understand the “Wants VS Needs” through interactive activities and know the true value of savings.
Lesson 4 – Entrepreneurship (21st March 2019)
“If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door!” Get into the process of designing, launching and running their little donut making business! Acquire lifelong skills and become a creative individual.
Lesson 5 – LIVE! In Action & Graduation Party (22nd March 2019)
“Make it Happen!” Setting up an event space and learn the importance of basic budgeting & time management. Also learn about some of the popular party games and how to execute them confidently! Presenting the Graduation Party for the students from Kidz@Work! Also be there to witness the Prize Giving Award Ceremony!
